Men’s & Women’s MITB participants brawl, New Tag Team Champions crowned, Solo Sikoa sights Championship & much more!!!

The July 5, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is officially over and it is the Money in the Bank Go-Home episode. WWE showcased some of the interesting matches, segments and brawl for the show including a championship match. Get to know what happened this week on SmackDown, as we came out with the complete summary, highlights, results and winners list for the show.

Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match participants confront

Jey Uso kicks-off Friday Night SmackDown and all the participants followed him to the ring one-by-one by interfering each other.

When all the participants including Jey Uso,Carmelo Hayes,Andrade,Chad Gable,LA KnightandDrew McIntyre were in the ring, Drew roasted all of them, until Andrade attacked him from the back, to kick start a brawl. Everyone attacked each other, where LA Knight and Jey Uso stood tall inside the ring to end the segment.

Backstage Interview

Bayley was interviewed backstage and Chelsea Green interrupts her saying that Green will be coming for her after she wins the MITB contract. Bayley asked her to first win a match. Niven attacked Bayley. With Bayley laid down, Green warned Bayley saying that the next time Niven runs on her, she’ll be cashing in the MITB for the title.

After the attack, Naomi met Bayley and checks if she is fine. Bayley said that she met Nick Aldis and confirmed a match with Piper Niven tonight.

The Street Profits vs Pretty Deadly

Montez Ford and Elton Prince start the match, with Ford taking control of him. Kitt Wilson tags him and Ford with a throw down takes him in control. Dawkins and Prince are the legal men, where Dawkins is fired up. However the cheap shot from Kitt from outside the ring took Dawkins down.

Back after the commercial, Prince took Dawkins in control with a clothesline. Prince got tagged in and both collide in the middle of the ring. Wilson and Ford got tagged in and Fors is fired up throwing series of shots, clothesline and a standing moonsault. Ford goes for the top rope. Pretty Deadly delivered a suplex on Ford and Dawkins blind tags himself in to hit a Splash on Wilson.

Ford delivered a flying senton over the ropes on them. Back in the ring Dawkins delivered a Spinebuster on Prince and Ford hit a Frog Splash on him to win the match.

Backstage

Austin Theory wants Grayson Waller to be on the same page. Waller says they are, thats why they are champions. Theory said that he met Johnny Gargano. Waller stops him saying how many title did Theory won with Gargano-none? However Theory is a two time US champion and the tag team champion without him. Theory makes up his mind.

Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae vs Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill

Jade Cargill and Indi Hartwell start the match with Cargill taking initial control. Candice made the distraction and Indi uses the opportunity to take control of her. Jade tried to tag Belair, but Indi is not leaving her. Both exchanged a big boot to lay down and they tag their partners in.

Bianca Belair was fired up taking Candice for a ten punches to the face. She took Indi down and threw Candice on her to deliver a splash. Cargill tags in to deliver a Punt kick. Both Belair and Jade delivered their own finisher on their opponents to win the match.

Belair and Cargill was interviewed, where they said that they are back in track to take the tag team titles from Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn soon.

Kevin Owens, Randy Orton & Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes said that he is so heard of Solo Sikoa and they are ready to fight. Randy Orton said that he gonna end the Bloodline with RKO. Kevin Owens said he has been battling The Bloodline for the last four years. However he has been battling for the last four years. Owens’ mom is hospitalized and she won’t be here. However her mom wanted him to fight and he is here to beat the Bloodline worse than ever.

Bayley vs Piper Niven

Iyo Sky is seated on the front row to spectate the match. The match began with both Bayley & Niven trying to take initial control and Niven takes it with a takedown and a senton. Baylwy fights back with a head butt and a bull dog. Bayley looks for a drop kick, but Niven escapes and banged Bayley’s head to the ring post.

All the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match competitors are on the ringside setting their sights on Bayley. Bayley looks for a Roseplant on Niven, but she escapes, however Bayley hit a neck breaker on Niven.

Naomi and Chelsea kick start a brawl outside the ring. Iyo Sky, Lyra Valkyria, Zoey Stark and Tiffany joins the fight. Tiffany hit a moonsault on all the MITB opponents from the top rope to outside the ring.Inside the ring, Niven took Bayley down and looks for a splash, but Bayley escaped and delivered a roseplant for the win.

After the match, Nia Jax attacked Bayley from the back with running through her and with a senton. When going for the top rope, but Michin with a Kendo stick stopped her and made Jax to retreat.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match- A-Town Down Under (C) vs #DIY

Tomasso Ciampa and Grayson Waller started the match. All the four enter the ring and they pick up the fight. DIY sends the champs out of the ring and delivered a springboard crossbody to take initial control. Back after the commercial, DIY took Theory to their corner and took him with the team work.

Theory moved to the otherside, Waller distracts and Theory took control and tags Waller in. Waller delivered an elbow drop on Gargano from the middle rope and the champions with back to back tag-ins take full control of Gargano.

Gargano sneaks outside the ring. Theory & Waller follows him, but Gargano hit the Canadian Destroyer on Waller. Back in the ring, Johnny Gargano tries to tag Ciampa in, but Waller pulled Ciampa’s leg. Theory regained control by driving Gargano’s back of the head to the knee.

After the commercial, Gargano delivered a Willows bell and looks for a springboard spear, but Waller caught him with the knee. While referee is distracted Waller tries to attack Gargano, but accidentally attacked Theory. Gargano and Ciampa hit rhe shatter machine, however Theory breaks the pin with a rolling drop kick.

Gargano hit a superkick on Theory to send him out. #DIY hit Meet in the Middle and Theory saved by keeping Waller’s leg to the rope. Gargano and Ciampa locks Waller and Theory with a Sicilian Stretch and made them tap to win the WWE Tag Team Championship.

Solo Sikoa’s Message

Solo Sikoa said that the Ula Fala makes him Tribal Chief. He says Roman Reigns is not man enough to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship and their family legacy. So he longer be the Tribal Chief. Solo claims that he will take the Undisputed WWE Champion from Cody Rhodes. He will prove who he is tomorrow night in the Six Man Tag Team Match. Solo also asks Roman to take everything from him, if he can.
