The Bachelorette season 21 star Jenn Tran's ex-boyfriend, Matt Rossi, revealed that he filmed a segment for the "Men Tell All" episode that never aired. Matt and Jenn dated for three months three years ago, and recently reconnected before Jenn became the Bachelorette. Matt showed up in New Zealand halfway through Jenn's season, professing his love for her, and trying to win her back by joining her season. However, Jenn sent Matt home from The Bachelorette season 21.
"Release the tapes. It got juicy."
In a TikTok video, Matt revealed that he filmed a segment for The Bachelorette season 21 "Men Tell All" episode that was cut from the show. Matt posted a picture of himself dressed in his suit and captioned it, "When they made me come to Men Tell All, rehash everything out, just to cut the whole segment out..." Matt also wrote, "release the tapes it got juicy." In the comments section of the post, a fan wrote, "I'm sorry but I full forgot about you," to which Matt responded, "wish abc did too but here we are."

Bachelorette Fans Think Producers Manipulated Jenn's Season
They Think The Season Was Fake
In the comments section of Matt's TikTok video, a fan wrote, "This whole season is just a skit. Nothing seems legit in any way, the producers had a field trip with this season lol." Also, although the show said that Matt paid his own way to New Zealand, fans speculated that the producers did have a hand in his initial appearance. One fan wrote, "I also feel like they called you and flew you out lol," while another replied, "Oh 100%. They [sought] him out, flew him in to mid season and paid his flights and hotel. Premeditated drama."
It does seem very suspicious that Matt appeared on The Bachelorette season 21 at all. It doesn't seem likely that he could just show up on the set of the show, asking to speak to Jenn without the producers knowing ahead of time. The Bachelor franchise producers are notorious for this kind of manipulation. The worst part was that it was all unnecessary because Jenn didn't allow Matt to join the show. Viewers were left with a cliffhanger that ended in the anticlimactic exit of Matt at the beginning of the next episode. It was unnecessary drama.
It's also weird that Matt's segment was deleted from the "Men Tell All" episode, but frivolous scenes such as Brett Harris reading his funny DMs and Hakeem Moulton yet again facing his fear of spiders were left in. The producers can't say that there wasn't time in the episode for Matt because any of that could've been cut to allow him to have some airtime.
Perhaps Matt was cut from the "Men Tell All" episode because he and Jenn have rekindled their relationship in real life. The Bachelorette has teased an unprecedented ending for Jenn, so maybe she broke up with either Marcus Shoberg or Devin Strader after getting engaged, and is now dating Matt. Whatever happens next, Matt's experience with The Bachelorette has been very strange. Perhaps some day the show will release Matt's deleted "Men Tell All" segment for viewers to watch on social media because there seems to be more to the story.
The three-hour The Bachelorette season 21 finale airs Tuesday, September 3 at 8 p.m. EDT.
