The Jacksonville Jaguars seek their first winning streak for about two years when they take on the Indianapolis Colts in an AFC South contest. The Jaguars stunned the Buffalo Bills last week at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, with three field goals from Matthew Wright in the first NFL victory on American soil for head coach Urban Meyer and rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence, the top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Jacksonville pass rusher Josh Allen won AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his performance. Indianapolis running back Jonathan Taylor is attempting to move into the lead in the NFL rushing standings.

7:30 p.m. | Gene Frenette: Trevor Lawrence will grow after Jaguars' bummer finish

A decade from now, when Trevor Lawrence is playing in a nationally-televised game, don’t be surprised ifa network graphic appears that shows the Jaguars’ rookie quarterback has already led 25 or 30 fourth quarter comeback victories.

Long-term health permitting, that’s going to happen. It’s just that the No. 1 overall draft pick and his surrounding castisn’t ready to do thatjust yet, certainly noton anyconsistent basis. | Read more --Gene Frenette

7:20 p.m. | Jamal Agnew leads Jaguars on ground

Jacksonville's big-play runner Sunday was wide receiver Jamal Agnew, who bolted for 66 yards on an end-around play for a touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts — the longest run by a receiver in Jaguars history. | Read more --John Reid

6:15 p.m. | James Robinson, Dan Arnold revived Jaguars' offense

Part of the problem with the Jaguars’ offense in the first half on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts is that running backJames Robinsonand tight endDan Arnold, the two most productive offensive players this season, were almost non-existent.When they came alive in the second half, so did the Jaguars. | Read more --Garry Smits

5:40 p.m. | Gene Frenette's report card for Jaguars vs. Colts

5:25 p.m. | Twitter reacts to Trevor Lawrence's bad day for Jaguars

It was not a good day for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Lawrence was 16 of 35 for 162 yards for a 59.5 passer rating. In his prior two starts, both coming after Jacksonville won its first game in London against the Miami Dolphins, he was 47 of 70 for 356, with one touchdown and an interception. And for some on the Internet, the performance was meme-worthy.| Read more --Dan Rorabaugh

5:23 p.m. | Special teams ranges from good to disastrous in Jaguars' loss

Matthew Wright missed his secondextra-point attempt of the season but drilled his fourth field goal in five attempts from beyond 50 yards.Logan Cooke gave the Colts an average starting point of their own 15-yard line on his last six punts, after getting his first punt as an NFL player blocked and recovered for a touchdown. And that was just in the first half.| Read more --Garry Smits

4:30 p.m. | Takeaways: Trevor Lawrence fumble costly in loss

Just more than two minutes remained and Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence had 75 yards in front of him to keep momentum surging for another week.

But the Jaguars' hopes vanished after Lawrence was strip-sacked and Colts defensive end Kemoko Turay recovered to seal the Jaguars' 23-17 loss.| Read more --John Reid

4:18 p.m. | FINAL: Colts 23, Jaguars 17

The Jaguars' winning run ends at one game.

4:16 p.m. | Trevor Lawrence is strip-sacked, last drive fails

That'll do it. Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars across the midfield stripe with a minute to go. But just when it looked like Jacksonville might complete the comeback, Lawrence got strip-sacked by several Colts and Kemoko Turay recovered the ball for Indy.

4:11 p.m. | TWO-MINUTE WARNING

The Jaguars, trailing 23-17, face third-and-1 at their own 34.

4:07 p.m. | Field goal Colts: Kick extends lead late

This one is not over yet.

Carson Wentz moved Indianapolis up the field after a long completion to Michael Pittman, but the drive ran out of steam at the 20. Michael Badgley extended the lead with a 37-yarder. But Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars will get the ball back with a chance to win.

Colts 23, Jaguars 17, 2:22 4th.

3:43 p.m. | Touchdown Jaguars: James Robinson dives into end zone

Get ready: Jacksonville is back in the game. Trevor Lawrence looked smoother on that drive, including a fine third-down delivery to Dan Arnold on a slant to get down inside the 10. From there, James Robinson plunged over the goal line from 1 yard out.

Urban Meyer called for a 2-point conversion, and it worked: Lawrence tossed a shovel pass to Arnold, and suddenly, the Jaguars are back within a score.

Colts 20, Jaguars 17, 10:34 4

3:33 p.m. | End of third quarter: Indianapolis 20, Jacksonville 9

One more quarter for the Jaguars to turn this game around. Trevor Lawrence's completion percentage continues to hover well below 50 percent, a combination of off-target throws and frequent bobbles from receivers.

3:30 p.m. | No fumble: Jaguars escape turnover after review

Jaguars dodge more trouble. After an exchange of punts,James Robinson loses the handle on a pass and Kwity Paye recovers for Indianapolis. But officials confer and rule the play incomplete. Robinson appeared to be juggling the ball throughout the play.

3:05 p.m. | Wide right: Promising drive ends without points

That looked encouraging for the Jaguars. The offense wasn't quite in rhythm but still got the ball across midfield, with help from a flag on Indianapolis. But Chris Manhertz was whistled for a blindside block, a couple of catchable passes fell incomplete and finally Matthew Wright missed a field goal wide right from 51 yards.

2:55 p.m. | Second half ready to go

Back to the action in Indianapolis. The Jaguars will receive the kickoff.

2:54 p.m. | CRUNCH: Colts' Jonathan Taylor trucks a ref, who misses one series

Being an NFL referee can be rough, in more ways than one. One official ended up on the ground after getting flattened at the end of a long Jonathan Taylor run, on a play that didn't even count. | Read more --Scott Horner

2:50p.m. | Jamal Agnew strikes again! Watch his 66-yard TD run

You can add running back to the growing list of positions from which Jamal Agnew has scored a touchdown this season. His 66-yard score showcased his breakaway speed. | Read more -- Dan Rorabaugh, USA TODAY Network

2:42 p.m. | HALFTIME: Colts 20, Jaguars 9

The offense has been pretty miserable for the Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence has completed just three passes in the entire half, hampered by drops. But a pass to Dan Arnold and a couple of scrambles set the Jags up in position for Matthew Wright to attempt a 56-yard field goal, and that kick had just enough to squeeze through the upright.

Indianapolis leads 20-9 at halftime.

2:28 p.m. | Field goal: Michael Badgley boots another kick

That's going to add some more points for Indianapolis going into the break. Carson Wentz commanded a patient drive that ended with a field goal just before halftime for the Colts.

Colts 20, Jaguars 6, 1:43 2nd.

2:10 p.m. | Jaguars defense finding a rhythm

Good news for the Jaguars is that Jonathan Taylor is no longer running the Jacksonville defense to death. Indy has had a couple of three-and-outs, and the pass rush is pressing Carson Wentz into increasingly risky decisions.

But the Jacksonville offense, Jamal Agnew breakaway run aside, remains largely stagnant. Trevor Lawrence is having somewhat more success taking off with his legs.

1:45 p.m. | END OF FIRST QUARTER: Indianapolis 17, Jacksonville 6

Jaguars have lots of ground to make up.

1:40 p.m. | SEE IT:E.J. Speed's punt block touchdown for Colts

Jaguars fans might not relish seeing it, but it's a highlight nonetheless: The Colts' E.J. Speed takes a blocked punt back to the end zone for a first-quarter lead. | Read more --USA Today Network

1:38 p.m. | Touchdown Jaguars: Jamal Agnew zooms to the end zone

After nearly a full quarter of going nowhere on offense, Jamal Agnew produces a highlight. He takes the ball, rounds the Colts defense and 66 yards later, he's into the end zone with his first rushing touchdown.

Then, a non-highlight: Matthew Wright misses the extra point. Jaguars fans have seen that before.

Colts 17, Jaguars 6, 1:03 1st.

1:32 p.m. | Touchdown Jonathan Taylor: Colts pull away for three-score edge

It's getting ugly in Indy. The Jaguars' defense has zero answer for Jonathan Taylor. The former Wisconsin tailback drags the Jacksonville D into the end zone from 4 yards out. He's up to 93 yards rushing in the first quarter. The Jags' defensive performance from last week against Buffalo feels like a distant memory.

Colts 17, Jaguars 0, 2:48 1st.

1:16 p.m. | Touchdown Colts: E.J. Speed scores on blocked punt return

Yikes. That won't help the Special Teams grade on the Jaguars Report Card later today.

After a three-and-out, one with Carlos Hyde on the field instead of James Robinson, Logan Cooke had his punt blocked by the Colts' Zaire Franklin. E.J. Speed scooped it up, took the ball 11 yards to the end zone and suddenly, the Jaguars are behind two scores.

Colts 10, Jaguars 0, 8:23 1st.

1:10 p.m. | Long drive ends in Indy field goal

Jonathan Taylor made that drive look easy for the Colts for much of the way, starting with a 34-yard rush on the first Indianapolis snap. That's not what the Jaguars' defense was looking for after its effort against Buffalo.

But the Jaguars held firm when it mattered in the red zone, getting pressure on Carson Wentz and nearly wrapping up the quarterback. That halted the march, but Michael Badgley put Indy on the board with a 24-yard field goal.

Colts 3, Jaguars 0.

It's kickoff time. Jonathan Taylor and Indianapolis will get the football first.
