Heirudin Crnic, age 73, of Perry, passed away Monday, June 22, 2020 at Lake Health in Madison. He was born December 21, 1946 in Austria. He married Maria Vidmar on December 12, 1970. Heirudin served in Vietnam in the United States Marine Corps. He then worked as a purchasing agent in the auto parts industry. He and Maria enjoyed traveling in Europe and Canada; and playing cards on Friday nights. After retirement, Heirudin enjoyed going to Casino’s, playing the stock market, collecting rare coins and walking his beloved dogs, Milo and Max. He is survived by his wife, Maria; children, Nadia Peroni and Enis (Cynthia) Crnic; granddaughter, Isabel; sisters, Sefta and Esma; brothers, Mo (Cindy) Dervic and Husejin (Zera) Dervic. He was preceded in death by his mother, Imena Dervic; brother, Enis; and sister, Ismeta. Friends will be received 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH. Those in attendance are strongly encouraged to follow current pandemic guidelines for Covid 19, wear masks, and keep social distance. Funeral Personnel will assist with entry. Christine Amanna (Antonecchia) 56, of Somers, NY formerly of Hawthorne, NY died Tuesday June 29th 2021 at Northern Westchester Hospital. Christine was born on July 1st 1964 to Guido and Barbara Antonecchia. She was the eldest of three children predeceased by her sister Lisa and her father. Christine was raised in Yonkers, graduated from the University of Hartford where she received a Bachelor of Science and a dual Master of Science of Education and Special Education from Manhattan College. She was a Special Education Teacher for the Yonkers Public School District and previously worked for the Westchester School for Special Children in Harrison, NY. Christine is the beloved wife of 27 years to Gary F. Amanna. They were married on February 12th 1994 at St. John the Baptist Church in Yonkers, NY. She is the loving sister of Vincent (Michelle) Antonecchia of Somers, NY and sister in-law to Rosanne (Michael) Goodwin of Winter Haven, Florida and Carlo Amanna of Yonkers, NY. Born 73 years ago to the late Orville (Sam) and Ruth McDowell, Garth lived his entire life on the family farm. Beloved husband of Sue (Vegso) McDowell for 48 years and dear father of daughter Shannon and Jim Rose of Abbotsford, BC, and son Shane and Wendy McDowell of Chatham. Cherished grandfather of Sophie, Katie, Josie, Charlotte and Eddie. Dear brother to Wanda (Don) Burse of Blenheim and Lawna McDowell (Marcel Trepanier) of Windsor. He then went on and received his commercial and instructor’s licenses.
